I just asked, and my mother said she has used it for him before while I was away... He hasn't had any problems, so I'm guessing that the water doesn't have more than trace amounts of anything in it. I didn't know they had been using that brand without problems.
Yeah the process of Reverse Osmosis removes everything including minerals. As line as they drawers minerals to the water it should be fine, but if there isn't enough mineral content then you can buy stuff to re-add minerals to the water. R/O water like distilled lacks minerals and salts needed by the frogs for proper hydration and bodily functions without these minerals and salts the R/O water and distilled water actually steal these minerals and salts from the frogs body which can make the frog sick and eventually kill it. As long as minerals have been re-added you should be fine.

Yeah, I knew they needed minerals in their water, I checked for that before I used it. I've heard distilled is okay for misting, but I'm even paranoid about using it for that, so I end up scrubbing the **** out of my tank whenever I clean it to get water stains off. Since my parents had been using the nestle water for him with no problems I'm guessing the mineral content is high enough.

This is why I post on this forum when I need a quick response! I'd be waiting two days on some of the others I go to.
