Thread: Water question

  1. #1

    Default Water question

I use rain water in my tank as it is hassle free to collect and safe. So I was wondering if I put all the water I have at the moment into a big tub and left it for a few weeks outside to let all kinds of aquatic plants grow in it (algae, plants I've bought from the shops and anything else that would grow in it) would it still be safe to use the water?

You would be risking bringing in nasties on the plants.
