I just asked, and my mother said she has used it for him before while I was away... He hasn't had any problems, so I'm guessing that the water doesn't have more than trace amounts of anything in it. I didn't know they had been using that brand without problems.
Yeah the process of Reverse Osmosis removes everything including minerals. As line as they drawers minerals to the water it should be fine, but if there isn't enough mineral content then you can buy stuff to re-add minerals to the water. R/O water like distilled lacks minerals and salts needed by the frogs for proper hydration and bodily functions without these minerals and salts the R/O water and distilled water actually steal these minerals and salts from the frogs body which can make the frog sick and eventually kill it. As long as minerals have been re-added you should be fine.
