Here are a few pics. One is of the basic rack. The others are of the frogs in the tubs. I keep them on either paper towels or a plastic mat you can find at a michaels Craft store for 59 cents.
You can also keep moss in the tubs with the plastic mats and it works well.
thanks Mike this is so much cleaner, but ive invested in the enclosure already so maybe when i get more pacs ill start a rack tub setup.
I have the same tubs for my pacs but put eco earth or moss

The substrate of coco fiber is perfectly fine. The reason breeders keep frogs on paper towels is to see color potentials.
If you are keeping the frog as a pet only, the fiber is great.......dirty, but fine.
When aestivation time comes around, we lower temps and place our breeders on coco fiber too. So they can dig in and get a good sleep to be ready for the next season.
They dull down in color when they dig in for camouflage reasons.......they are ambush predators and blending in is a good thing in the wild.
Our breeders are like Sumo Wrestlers.....so spoiled they don't bother to dig in unless it's time to aestivate!!
i have my albino as a pet, like i said on coco-fiber, but it would be nice to keep him in the enclosure and be able to show off his color to friends and family. I came across a couple Japanese you tube feeding videos where it seems like they have their pacs in a 10gallon tank with just shallow water and a water bowl is this fine?
