I wouldn't have been able to pass on those either. Snatch them all up. Nice buy.

Your dwarf is adorable! They don't have them here that I've seen. I agree, go snatch up the rest of them and make a 40 gallon.

I've always thought Dwarf Pyxies were cute. All the agression and looks of a ABF in a compact size Lol! nice buy. Now go get the other 2 and set that 40 up.

Interesting, I imagine its just harder to get animals/reptiles over all, so they only bring in whats high in demand?

Yea, kinda how it went. I figure for $8, and me being able to feed it for "free" because I have a good dubia colony, plus I heat an entire room for the critters, so its not costing me anything more then it was there ether.

BTW, What do you use to treat the water for your tank? I've been using the standard aquarium/fish water treatment, but after reading about how dangerous bad water is for frogs, I've been thinking maybe theres something out there better for 'em?

haha, tell me about it! It's a good idea, but we have quite a few reptiles at the moment. Have to see what I can do to make some room or something.

haha, I've always been a haggler, or do they call that being cheap? lol. Having my one year old son in my arm's made it easy, lol.

Good price Rob, he's got good colors. I'm not particularly into these species, but I know they're harder to come by than the south african giant. I saw a Tanzanian Dwarf Bullfrog (P. edulis) at the LLL that's near me. It was when I picked up my P. adspersus.

Thanks buddy. I figured for the price, and the fact its really not going to cost me any extra month to month made it worth it. Plus I just dig there colors.

Last night before work it ate another 3 dubia, and had a poop for me to clean up. Lots of cricket head's in its poop, so I'm sure it will have a growth spurt now that its getting dubia
