I do wish that stores were more willing to promote proper information about the health and care of their animals. It just seems so wrong that they don't put in the effort to protect the pets they sell, before or after they sell them.

Before I answer this question, I do not encourage Pacman Frog handling except when absolutely necessary. That said...

That sort of depends on what your Pacman Frog has been doing. Normally it my feel like the skin is a little tight. If they have been soaking in the water dish they my feel like they have loose-ish skin, they will feel larger and heavier. Your description sounds like a well hydrated Pacman Frog, but of course, I can't be sure from the description.

and also, if they are impacted they may have a hard lump under their belly. If you suspect impaction you can very carefully and gently(!) poke (not hard at all!) their belly to see if they have a lump. Some people aren't exactly sure how big the lump should be, or exactly where on the underside it would be. Those things are kind of hard to describe in text, but if you have any questions or suspicions, feel free to start a thread.
