Default We are loosing to many pacman out there

Hey guys,i just want to say that some people are loosing too many pacman frogs out there. Please do your research before you get a frog.Ask questions now, enjoy later. We are here to answer all your questions, and hopefully we can help you become a successful frog owner. Its not easy owning a frog. Its a fairly big commitment. They need the right housing, food and atmosphere. The temp/humidity has to be right.. Please ,don't go by what some seller tell you. Baby frogs are very vulnerable to diseases. The answers are all here. So if you are thinking of getting a frog for a pet, please start here. Don't just get one cause some one told you they are easy, and you ready to go. Hope i was helpful ,and i don't want to say a unnecessary "sorry for your loss" any more to a premature death. Thank you, a concerned frog keeper.

In addition to this post which I totally agree with, everyone concerned about their frog displaying unusual symptoms should also look at the basic frog first aid caresheet: Frog Forum - Basic Frog First Aid. It could potentially help you towards bringing your frog around and even better not letting the illness progress till it's too late like we've seen with some of the posts. Always consult a vet if the temporary treatments done at home are not working and the frog is displaying symptoms even worse... People like BG and a few others, not familiar with everyone who is experienced with pacman species since I'm not on this section a lot... They should be able to help you every step of the way in properly diagnosing or treating your frog... If they are not here, or the advice given is not helping your frog which it should, seek a professional veterinarian immediately. A lot of times people buy from inexperienced pet shops or reptile shops who don't care a lot about their herps and buy the cheapest they can get (Wild caught, etc.). Then people wonder why they come home and have a unhealthy frog with a disease or infection, etc. Always buy from reputable places and research the frog thoroughly as BG mentioned in the first post, your frog will live a healthy life with proper husbandry.

Mark brought up a good point. If you don't do something about it. They just fade away. You must be able to use good judgment with your ill frog. Your frogs wellbeing is in your hands.

Great advice coming from Mark and BG. Never waiting til its too late is key. If there is strange and unusual behavior coming from your frog post in detail exactly how your frog is acting and never I mean NEVER! Hesitate to ask questions. There is always someone who can give advice and help.
