    Good thought. No, I refuse to use any form of pesticides as I want the bugs around to keep the frogs fat. Used to use pesticides years ago, and slug bait. Have not had to since the frogs are here, no slugs eating the plants. The frogs do a good job of that. We do however use a lawn fertilizer about three times a year. the lawn is about 40 feet away from the Pond.
