common purslane (Portulaca olearacea) for vivarium ground cover?

Seems to grow in the brighter, dryer spots of my garden so I'm doubtful that it would work well in a viv.

Yeah my substrate is fairly moist, I don't see it taking off either (wish I could say the same about my garden..). I placed some in my tank as an experiment, if it dies I will just remove it.

Their seeds,spores,rhizomes or whatever it is using to reproduce is very nasty and caked my substrate dry like there's no tomorrow. They're also salt tolerant as i've tried growing them for my fiddler crabs and red thai crabs lol
