I am really shocked he pulled through the night. Last time I saw a red-eye go belly up it died shortly after.
He finally fell asleep last night (I know he's nocturnal, but he had a very long trip so I was glad to see him relax finally), and I decided at that time I would mix a solution of pedialyte and treated warm water 1:10, and drip this on his back. I did this three times last night.
I also left a bowl of small crickets in the enclosure, but neither he nor his tank mate ate anything.
His scratches I saw yesterday are now gone, so I think I may have been just paranoid. Though I did see something, glad it's gone now.
I will continue with the plan of being very quiet, and continue to offer food. Hopefully they eat soon. And daytime temp I have now upped slightly to 79f.
I'll keep you all posted. Thank you!
Sooo... you pretty much ignored everything I said! I took a good 15 minutes to type that up too on my cell phone so glad to know it was for nothing LOL... this is why help threads never get responses
