To the right of the "Reply With Quote" bottom is a "Multiple Quote Bottom." After you select all the quotes you want to reply to; then select "Reply to Thread" and you will have all of them grouped in one post.

Recommend read the article Cody linked: http://www.frogforum.net/vivarium-te...html#post11325. Depending on how it's treated and your city codes; sometimes bottled "spring water" is fine for humans; but not for frogs. Good luck !

I use spring on everything. My fish, my plants, and my self. (I have a 100 plants in my room) I think it will be ok, but I learn new things every day so that might change. ~Michael

I've used bottled spring water before when I had to keep my reptiles for awhile at a place that only had well water. Didn't want to shock them by suddenly introducing all the bacteria and metals that well water has in it.

Sounds like you have a lot of animals that need treated water. You should really look into getting a bottle of the SeaChem purifier and just reusing those gallon jugs and treating a new batch of water every few days; if you go through it quickly there's really no problem with treating it and using it over 3-4 days. Over the long run it's a LOT cheaper than buying spring every time, and you don't have to worry about how honest a specific brand is being about the source and treatment of their spring water.

I have more plants than animails.(I ordered java moss today) but yes 10% of my plants can not have tap. It's hard but I love it.~Michael

Like I said, I don't trust bottled water.

I have a GE smart water system for my drinking water that is a under sink water filter.

And for my aquariums and terrariums I also use a larger GE smart water system that supplies water to
my 50G water conditioner that I made for my aquariums and terrariums.


The replacement filters do cost around $40.00 for each system but it is much cheaper than buying
bottled water that can have stuff in it that you don't know about.
Total installed cost for both filters was about $200US but I bought these from the hardware store and probably
could have gotten them much cheaper via amazon. ( That was before I was aware of amazon.)

Sorry I don't have a picture for the conditioner since I am not home.

But it consists of a 50G food grade drum that has a submersible aquarium heater set to 77F
And a large ring shaped airstone that helps extra dissolved gasses to escape and any remaining chlorine
bubble away.
Durring the winter months the water is colder and can absorb more gasses and cause problems for fish.

Since I am travel a lot I have a automatic water changing system for my aquariums.
And my wife is too prissy to do it for me.
I made the system after I had a two month project and I lost just about every fish
Since my wife wouldn't do water changes.

And I am a engineer and I like to do that kind of stuff.
I won't go into describing the water changing system because that is a bit too long and really needs a thread of its own.

I have learned the hard way to read posts completely and twice since I some times miss things.
