i think im going to use distilled for all of it i don't want spots at all. (its not that expensive)

You can use distilled for misting ONLY. For expanding substrate or in the water dish you need either bottled spring water or treated tap water. Distilled doesn't have any minerals in it, and can cause serious health problems for the frog.
