Yikes what a monster, hes a very good looking frog with a huge head. How big was he at about 5 months old if you can remember? Just wondering if mine will do anymore growing as he is 5 months.

My frog did a lot of his growing in the last 4 months so I would expect your guy to keep growing. It really comes down the the frogs individual genetics that determine how big he is going to get, proper nutrition helps but it's really the genetics. In the wild not all African bullfrogs get past the 6-7-8 inch mark however a select few get way past and turn into real giants, it's even more rare to see true giants that are captive born or raised in captivity. Don't get me wrong a 6" frog is huge by any standards but Its the wild that really pushes them to grow its a mater of survival.
Mine is 5 months and over 6 inches but he has stopped eating recently. He will only accept huge prey now which is really annoying.

Sausage idea is neat I wouldn't bother because my guy eats dew worms and hornworms as a staple and loves them. I just don't bother with crickets, dew worms are nutritionally better.
I just noticed the picture of the dwarf female! That's awesome how she chirps at the big beast next doorIt's also funny how she sits in a little sandwich box!
Do you raise your own hornworms? I raise them for my frog, and it's definitely a food item that is never refused! Hornworms are basically little sausages haha.
