There is no need to go on the defensive over this matter. You can do as you please with your animals. You don't have to follow any advice given here at all. No one is trying to force you to change your husbandry just making suggestions and no one has attacked your level of experience so there is no need to defend yourself. You were there videoing so if something was to go wrong. You were there to step in as necessary.
You're right, I am coming off as defensive and I don't mean to.
I acknowledge that that mouse in that video was too large...and for the past 4+ years I only feed fuzzies and hoppers to my frogs for all the reasons stated above. It just seemed like no one was hearing that and wanted to give their opinion, which is fine except it was a reiteration of what I already said.
Again, sorry if I came off as defensive.
Well at least now you seem to have learned from your mistakes, considering you admitted it and that video is four years old. In my opinion, the perfect mice size is when the frog can just gulp it without much effort; just like you mentioned. It's the safest way to do it without causing injuries. Welcome to the forums though, I really like your avatar!![]()
