So i had an idea...since my tank is cramed on space i dont want to use to big of a bowl to put the crickets in..so i have a little candle holder that i've never used, but since it has a flat bottom the crickets could jump out. so I was thinking about lining the inside of it with plastic. What do you guys think?? I want to keep the stress level low to especially when i get them so i don't want to be taking them out to feed them in a seperate area....and i liked the glass bowl idea so you can keep track of the crickets and how much they ate.
Savannah!I'm actually going to try this tonight. I scored a 3 pack of bowls from the dollar store today and going to test this soon. Anyway, I think that the point of using the glass is because they can't get enough friction to be able to crawl or jump. Once it gets lined with something other than glass it will defeat the purpose. I'm not 100% sure as I'm a noob on this subject myself. The bowls I picked up aren't even big at all. I'm sure something this size will suit you're vivarium well. Here's a picture I took earlier.

lol thanks for the tip..ik thats y i was going to use plastic..its smooth. but i read that the bowl should have a curved bottom on the inside...and my candle holder is flat...so i thought creating a round bottom with plastic would work...lol
