Thanks Lija, bowl is too big so will change tomorrow. Moss is rubbish so that will be replaced by coco fibre, shall I leave a dry area for him or don't they mind the damp substrate? I will mist a bit less as that's causing my humidity plus that awful moss.

Agree with Lija's comments ! Loose shredded coco fiber comes pretty dry in the bag. Using a clean container or bag (no chemical cleaners, soap, etc.) add the coco you will be using and then some dechlorinated water. Mix it up with clean hand until you get it to clump in your fist, but it does not drip. If you add too much water and it drips when squeezed, add more coco until it just clumps. Then it's ready for use in enclosure. Good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Carlos, do I not need any dry areas for Norman or is damp coco fine throughout?

Cheers for the advice. Good news, both crix are gone and Norman has been moving about.

good to hear, its also good practice to take them out and soak them in de chlorinated water to help them get hydrated, it helps to promote feeding, in my experience

I agree, and to feed as well, i feed my small guys on wet paper towels when i remove them for feeding, this way they eat and wont get any coco fiber in them, once they are medium to large in size you can feed them in the enclosure, but for small ones, they get fed on wet paper towels, with de-chlorinated water of course.
