No that doesn't usually work. Smell gives it away and they do have good eyesight.

actually looking a ball look like a worm worked well for me at the beginning, for some reason round ball was freaking my ornate out, now she doesn't care anymore as long as it's keep coming :lol: Graham skip a feeding or two so they're really hungry and then offer. try to annoy as well as you were suggested.

Do you tong-feed them? I remember getting a frog accustomed to prekilled food by using tongs to feed it live prey. By the time I started using the prekilled food, it already knew whatever the tongs were holding was food.

yes, that is exactly a way to go, once they know "tongs=food" they don't care what that is.
