 Strange White's Breeding Question
 Strange White's Breeding Question
Is it safe (genetically speaking) to breed an Australian White's Tree Frog with an Indonesian kind? I've been kinda curious as to what would happen. I want to breed Retsu-Chi in a few years once I figure out his/her gender, (It's still too young to croak) but I also think a White's of somewhat blueish-by-comparison-skin pigment would be very cool to have. I don't really want to go out and buy 3 different frogs so....
Is it safe? Will I be frowned upon by the frog owning community for mixing em or are they alright since they're the same species anyway.

Safe, yes. However, the general consensus is that frogs from markedly different locations should not be bred together. If it were me, I wouldn't do it.

Well if I knew I was buying a cross-bred White's Tree Frog I wouldn't want it. Maybe that's just me.

				Most definitely.

Has anyone seen a cross bred whites? I'm kind of curious of the appearance. My littlest, Scooter is a captive bluish one (aus), but he/she ended up two-toned. His head, arms, legs will turn blue-green, but his back always remains brown.... Almost like a wide stripe.
