Tarantula venom is very weak compared to many spiders. I don't consider any animal being bit by a tarantula "normal" tho.

That was meant as not being normal for a small animal to resist the venom, but they eat venomous insects and spiders in the wild with no ill effects accept venomous toads, frogs, and newts which can kill them if eaten.

EDIT; Of course most Tarantula venom is weak, but it is effective against smaller animals such as frogs.

To be honest I never even watched the video so what I'm saying probably doesn't make sense.

Zlitni I know you didn't mean to post the video for any reason other than curiosity so don't feel like you did something wrong.

It's okay, nothing here I would never do such a thing as you know, but I were curious, and now I got the answer...
Actually, I were thinking the same about the video... but I couldn't stand for asking

No, you wouldn't do something like that. I'm pretty sure no one else on here would either.

There's still a link in one of your above posts in which you quoted the original post Grif.

I don't see how someone could have expected a positive response making a video like this, or would even think of torturing one of their pets like this

The worst thing was that most of the comments weren't even that negative. That always confuses me; you see a video of someone feeding a live mouse to a skittish snake species that probably wouldn't take pre-killed, and there are dozens of comments about how cruel and sociopathic the owner is. But then there's something like this that doesn't benefit either animal involved and is just cruel, and no one seems that offended (not on youtube anyway).
