Finding Bullfrogs in Greenville, SC

I live in Travelers Rest near Greenville. Honestly, I haven't even heard bull frogs in this area, although I don't live near still water. You almost have to catch the things wandering away from water to spot them. Any bull frogs I've ever spotted near water jump in and swim away as soon as you approach. You could perhaps try to find them at night when they're more active around a lake or pond.
