    It's a little hard to tell from the picture, but it appears to have dorsolateral ridges which would mean it's not a bullfrog. A green frog, Rana clamitans, ​is a usual suspect at pet stores but there are other possibilities. Do you have any idea on the location the frog is originally from?

    In green frogs the ridges usually extend pretty far down the body and are more prominent. overall, it looks like a young bullfrog.

    The ridges are definitely very obvious on a green frog with it in hand. The angle and lighting in this picture make it not so obvious either way to me.

    I have no idea where it is from I bought the frog as a tadpole from V.I.P Pets on Plainfield in Michigan
