The new website looks great! I am so glad to see that it is up! I was drooling looking over the C.cornuta and I love Budgett frogs too. Thumbs up on the new site!![]()
Great job Jeff. Looks awesome.
sick!...when do you think youll have surinam horned frogs in stock?
Thanks guys!! We put a ton of work into it. Once the glitches are fixed tomorrow, I will feel much better about it. One of the biggest things that irks me is they left off my Phib caresheet. Anyways, I am still awaiting a defenite answer on the cornutas. Once we know I will make a post on the news section of the site. There are a ton of folks foaming at the mouth to get those guys!!!
Awesome website man, looking forward to checking it out more in depth. The Aurita is wicked but it seems like Kim's are only topping out at like 4-5 inches, I don't really understand that. Must be the specific locale or something. Anyways, sweet website, congrats!!!![]()
Usually captive bred animals are smaller than their wild counter parts. This reduction in size is the "domestication effect," which is through captive breeding (i.e. domestication) an animal has certain attributes reduced in size - especially if they are a much larger in the wild. Now I'm not saying that these frogs are being domesticated (because they aren't), but the effect of size reduction is similar. There are many envrionmental and diet related factors that influence this "domestication effect." Sorry not to nerd everyone out :-)
really cool website! nice looking frogs. My fav is the hi-red pacman.
