Honestly, I have no idea. What I do know is that you did not mean to put your frog in this situation, if it even if it is in one. If the frog jumps about it's enclosure looking distressed, it may well be suffering but if not it might be fine, as in not in pain or discomfort. I hope you can get anything that may be wrong sorted on Monday, at least it isn't too far away. Good luck!

When you give him his soak later just let him sit there abit longer then usual and he should be fine from Neosporin, I would imagine your not putting huge amounts on and if it was really bugging him or effecting him he probably wouldn't be still eating and stuff. Just discontinue use till you get the other one. And don't be hard on yourself, everyone makes mistakes in the beginning that's part of the learning process. Breeders have probably made tons of errors to get were they are and learn what they know so even the best make them. So just keep quarantined, get the other Neosporin and keep doing the other things till Monday when you go see the vet. For all you know it may not be redleg at all and some mild bacterial infection or something in which antibiotics would be needed for anyway. If things get worse like he stops eating or moveing let us know and if not on monday let us know what the vet says.

Cory's totally right as always, even breeders have made mistakes and then learned from them. The good news is horned frogs are quite hardy frogs, though their achilles heal is with temps and supplementation as youngsters.

All sounds good, yeah change paper towels tomorrow with fresh moistened ones. Make sure to provide a hanging plant or hide for the frog to climb into though for security. In the meantime, to take your mind off worrying, I'd have a read of that book (you can get it off itunes). Not only is it very enjoyable to read, you will learn so much about your frog

I'll definitely add to the threat if anything weird happens, and what amount I put, I put on Croqueta's toes which was probably quickly washed off? I've already moved froggy around way too much for today so I don't want to cause any stress or anything because that would make it all worse, I bet. That's true though, I'm just worried the mistakes I make might end up killing it agghdndhs I really love my frog I don't want anything bad to happen.. As for the moment, I'll just put a few crickets in the enclosure and leave her in peace for the night, I think?

Any immediate threat to your frogs health may have taken it's toll by now, so by Monday hopefully you should have found and solved the problem and be treating any problems by any recommendations. Be careful with the crickets, if the frog does not eat them straight away, take them out so not to cause any stress

Thank you sm for all your help! As for the moment, shes just kind of chilling in her water bowl but I'll pay very close attention these days to see if her condition gets better and stuff. She doesnt seem to be distressed or jumpy or anything, but as for today I'll leave her to rest and stuff and I'll clean out her entire enclosure tomorrow ??
