That sucks. I do feel for you. Just be patient. They'll grow back. Mine are slowly making a comeback. I think I may have saved a few of my rare ones. Only time will tell now.

I don't know how I missed this thread! The crypt I bought has not melted at all so far (got it about a month ago.) Granted, I got a clump that was only about 2 inches tall. It looks very healthy yet though. I love the lobelia, I actually have some Lobelia cardinalis blooming in my garden right now! Hummingbirds love it!

Thank you for the encouragement, Mr. Chipmunk! I am on pins and needles with this tank pretty much all the time; it's infested with hair algae due to my own carelessness and I am never quite sure what's best for it. It needs more water changes, unfortunately - nitrate built up while I ran out of potassium (the shipper sent me manganese instead! not helpful!) and then was out sick for several days and missed a water change. Hopefully I won't lose any entire plants, just leaves.

I got a moehlmanni mixed up with my pondts, so my "pride and joy" rare-ish crypt is ... I don't even know for sure if I have it anymore! Whoops.
