Welcome aboard. I never dried them, just placed them in a rain chamber and they went to town for me. This last clutch was larger than the previous one. Try and coincide placing them inside the rain chamber with natural weather patterns. So, if it's raining out side, in the chamber they go. Good luck.

And if its raining crickets outside. Then make it rain crickets in its tank. XDDD Anywho, welcome to the forum!

When you want to breed them make sure you follow the light cycle. Turn lights on at day, off at night. During night time if its raining like kurt said pop em' in the rain chamber.

Just remember if you want them to breed. They need a pool of water to lay eggs. Make sure the pool of water has water plants, drift wood, rocks, etc. Also before you try to breed them. I would try feeding them heavily. :P It worked for a pair of frogs that I had. They didnt exactly mate( i didnt have females XD) but the males were like croaking all night, and "hugging" each other.

I open the rain system every night for 2-3 hours. The male also croak but just a shortly croak. In a day, I turn on the light and turn it off when the dark come. I'm not sure for the mturity of the frog that puberty enough to breed or not. The smallest one (male) size is 2 inch while the two other is bigger with 2.3 and 2.5 inch, respectively (probably female).

However, I'll try my best more realize about light and actually rain time.

Let the rain run till sun up. Like I said, time it it to coincide with a rain storm outside. The low barometric pressure will help, especially for the first time they breed.

Kevin, red-eyes do not lay their eggs in water, but rather above water, usually on a leaf. In my chamber, they have been know to lay on the sides of the tank as well. All the stuff you mentioned to put in the water, driftwood, plants, and so on, is not needed in this situation.

I think all of my frogs are not stress in this tank, they seem quite familiar to the place.
I think, If they puberty enough and I correct the enclosure setting including the humidity, raining time and light. I might success to breed them.
