The Oligodon genus doesn't swallow eggs whole then spit out the shells even the wild
Only the african genus Dasypeltis does that. Oligodons will forcibly open an egg with a slit via their teeth or their pointed tails. Oligodons also prefer reptile eggs particularly sea turtles and crocodile eggs to devour since reptile eggshells are not as hard as a bird egg whereas the Dasypeltis group eats almost exclusively, birds' eggs.

The Asian egg-eaters are more widespread than the African egg-eaters and are found in a variety of habitats from semi-arid, montane forests, sandy beaches and rainforests and are found in the Philippines, China, India and as far as Iraq and are waaay colorful![]()
