The only toads I ever see out here are those big ones... ya know... the ones people lick to get high on :P forgot the name but They get HUGE! I've caught a couple myself. I do appreciate seeing scorpions too, just not when they sting me in the middle of the night!

We've got loads of American Toads in this area. I actually got to witness a bunch of them breeding a couple Springs back. It was pretty cool. I grew up being used to how common they are around here & I took it for granted. Now I see how cool it is to have such a stable population even in my own yard.
