That is a decent growth rate, but I think he can eat more than just 3 or 4. It is normal for my male to put away. Well over a dozen in one feeding.

Do you feed yours over a dozen giant night crawlers everyday??? A dozen would cost me 5dollars. Thats 30 dollars a week for me. I would do that if I have the money.

Once they reach 6" you can begin to skip a day or two between feedings. Offer a variety of food such as Dubia Roaches, Night Crawlers, Superworms(sparingly), and Hornworms. You can also feed him pre-killed mice once or twice a month. Mine only eats every 3 to 4 days.
