    Default Pixies Throwing Up Calciworms?

I bought a small order of Calci-Worms to try out. So far two of the three pixie frogs I fed them to have thrown them back up whole in their water dishes! I am concerned to say the least. Both of these pixies are new, one is a dwarf, the other a gaint. They are also being fed nightcrawlers, hornworms and dubia roaches and have yet to throw any of these up. Just the calci-worms. Is it possible I got a bad batch? They are completely healthy otherwise and show no signs of illness. I also noticed this morning the third frog I fed the worms to has changed his behaviour pattern, which is unlike him. I'm worried he will be the next one to throw the worms up.

Myself would stop using any feeder that causes a frog to throw it up. Frogs have to evert their stomach to throw out food and if they can't accommodate it back, can be dead within minutes .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Re you sure they are being thrown up? The first time my bullfrog got calci worms they kept reappearing in his bowl and they were alive. I waited and it turned out he was pooping them out not long after eating them.

These arent alive and I dont think they could poop them out whole like that. The worms were dead and whole. I just dont know why it's just the calci-worms, it's weird!

I've already decided not to feed these worms anymore, to much risk for my little froggies lives! They dont seem to like the worms that much anyway!

Good decision but trust me they can poop them out whole. I witnessed my baby doing it.

Calciworms/Pheonix worms have alot of chitin and are not a good feeder like mealworms. They cannot be digested and this is why they come out whole.
