You just stated your opinion of what you think of the species you find interesting. Perhaps Pacman owners feel the same. How many different Pacman frogs have you seen? How man different species of Pacman have you seen?

You say true Toads seem regal. Well how about this Pacman?

The pacman in the photos is definitely are very proud little poeple! The seem to have different personalities, from grumpy to proud to stand offish
I have seen many pictures here on the forum and in the frogs for sale area on lllreptiles for sale pages. Im not sure yet about them, I have not met any personally. I would like to meet some to understand them better.
I have met other native frogs and toads. Beauty,a Grey tree frog whom I found on the side of my garden, others while picking berries. Then the toads I played with in Connecticut when I was little. I saw a pic of an American toad online. Wow did he look like a royal character! Or a judge, the only thing missing was the wig of long white curls.
For example: I find many mantids to be the same as all the pet frogs, each specie has its own personality and each individual within that specie is different. The grandmother of the line of Hierodula multispinas I have raised was a warrior at heart. Her daughters were sweet. The grandaughters are all wussies! They hide from anything scary or slip slowly down my hand at the sight of anything they dont like.
