Kk just keep an eye on the plastics. For the first two days of getting my new light I was checking constantly for melting. You might not see it. But you can get close and smell if the plastic is starting to melt. Want to avoid the melted plastic fumes. Also don't forget about the night time temperature drop. I keep my baby at 78 at night. Lights out is at 7:30p.m. every night.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
this frog needs a electrolyte bath with some honey asap! can you do it now? he doesn't look too bad, yes bloated, I've seen worse
do warm bath, so you stick your hand in it and it feels little warm, then add electrolyte solution ( 1part of water 1 part of electrolytes( unflavoured pedyalite or any other, as long as no coloring or flavor) and a few drops of honey, keep in it for 20 min, repeat for 2-3 days if needed.
lights- i'd get rid of any light that you have in general, whatever light he is getting from other enclosures or window if enough, and stick a small heat mat to the side for a heat or alternatively use light holder (you know the one you can hang a lamp on) and hand your 50W infrared lamp above the tank.
but at 3" as Carlos mentioned I would totally move him into 12x12x12 exo terra
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
Yes you can upgrade right now. I wouldn't move to a larger enclosure till the frog is eating agian though.
it won't eat anyway not until his bloating is under control, but danfrog you're right, it is better not to do any major changes until a frog is better. i would fix bloating first and then transfer into new tank with fresh substrate and all correct parameters![]()

I was thinking though. Could the frog be toxing out over its own urine from the enclosure being too small?
that is what i was thinking too![]()

Lija is on the right track and everyone has provided good advice.
If this is Toxicosis then the bath Lija has provided will help, but you can use different baths to treat Toxing Out Syndrome. There is one that is safe, but touchy on the ratio of the mixture. Try the Electrolyte replacement bath Lija recomended and if it does not do the trick in a couple days let me know and I will recomend a different route.
Ok, new plan of action. I will go out today and get some pedialite and do that and a honey bath. When he is better I will move him to a bigger enclosure. Thanks for all of your advice, I will keep you updated!
When he is soaking it might be a good opportunity to change out his substrate if you havent done that in a while. Just incase he is toxing from his urine.
I covered 3 sides of his tank. I also soaked him in the pedialite/water/honey for about 20 minutes. He did not poop but he did shed. I will do it again tomorrow.
how does he look like now? same bloated? if so repeat bath today. do you feel any hard lumps at all anywhere?

ok in that case continue with warm baths, gently(!) massaging that side, and go with bigger wateredyalite ratio ( 1:10)
