What does frog poop look like in water?

i already changed the water, but it was brown little pieces. i tryed putting him in warm watter again today but no luck. right now he is sleeping, because i have my light on. he is acting normal, and he is not bloated. also i have a question about crickets, i bought 50 of them and mostly all of them died right away.. is there a way to solve this?

You can put him in a 2-4 cup (depending on the size of your frog) plastic gladware bowl with the lid on it. Make sure you poke air holes in the lid. Like Lynn said, fill it with just enough warm water to reach his chin but not submerge him. The bowl will be small enough that he can climb the side but his butt will still be in the water.

As far as the crickets go you have to also feed them. There's lots of posts here about how we care for our crickets. I personally have a 20 gallon breeder tank with a metal lid because I buy 500-1000 at a time. I feed the crickets dry cricket meal and Flukers cricket quencher, that's the yellow or blue Jello looking stuff at the pet store. I also give them fresh veggies. They last for weeks like this. You also want to provide the crickets with hiding spots so broken egg crates or toilet paper rolls will work. Crickets are territorial and will eat each other so they need lots of room to get away from each other.

If you can get a picture of the little brown pieces that would help. My frog poops in his water bowl all the time, I'll try to get a picture of that and you can compare it to what you are seeing.

ok i will tell my boyfriend about the crickets. and about him an the water thing, oh i had a tall container. i will try a smaller container tom. or he could be pooping in the water dish. earlier it looked like he was trying to poop in the water bowl but i didnt see anything. and i would have took a picture but i already cleaned it. but if you could try to send a picture of what it looks like that would be great.

It's hard to tell from the picture but it looks more like substrate in the water. Was there any substrate left in the bottom of the tank before you put the carpet down? Also, the carpet is okay but you'll have to clean it real good at least once a week if not more. It will hold bacteria and when the frog does actually poop on it, it will be hard to clean off. Plain white non bleached paper towel works well too and also like I mentioned in our other convo, coco-fiber is easily digestible and shouldn't hurt the frog if he ingests some of it.
