Carlos just said "it's early, but he would guess a male." This may be on me for attempting to sex at such an early age. A lot of things change with this particular species in even a week. There's a couple of indicators that made me guess at a male so early, if you want I can edit your photos and show you what I was looking at. There is tons of threads here where people get pleasantly surprised with a male when it looked 100% female. I also like your thought process on that you will take care of it and love it regardless. Very admirable.

Thanks. And yes I would like you to edit the photos to show me the signs of it being a male if you want to.

How long or old does it have to be to croak or develop nuptial pads because I know they're ways to tell for sure.

Size determines when the frog will Call(Croak). 4" to 4.5" is an average size for them to start

The Males only develope nuptial pads during breeding season. Their Odontoids(tooth like projections on the center of the lower jaw) grow longer as well during this time to fight rival males for breeding rights and territory.

I don't really mind the outcome as long as it is healthy. The only reason I really want a male is just because they grow bigger but other than that I suppose females are better because they eat less, dont croak at night and wake you up and don't need a huge tank. Thanks anyway.
