Feeder crickets are dying!

I am keeping the crickets in a small transparent box with some cardboard , as they give me from the shop.Then when I go home I but that little box in an other bigger box in which I keep my feeder tongs and the vitamins and calcium.The temperature here is around 26-28-30 celsius.
I tried to feed the small crickets some carrot but they only took some bites.

That is a bit too hot, can you move them to cooler place in house? I feed mine carrots but I use a potato peeler to skin thin sections for them to eat. Also, can feed orange slices and chopped up greens .

Ive just started keeping frogs not to long ago, the crickets i get seem to be happy and living
what i do is, my tiny baby pinheads who r now rather big, i had in a jug with stocking over the top. the big ones in a similar but lil bigger container. i feed them oats i break them up a little for the babies,. also i put in some carrot. and a cleaned new sponge with some water on it, which i check at feeding time if its still wet , and give it a spray if its not. i read that they need to be pretty well ventilated. also the carrot i read also is mostly just for water. or something, that they also need some kind of food, their is food u can buy for them. but ye oats work for me, also any thing like that i would think they would eat. also i read that they like the dark, but mine don't live in the dark i just have them in no direct light and the egg carton box in with them and they are all good. than again id not notice if 1 or 2 would die cause i have around 50 or more at a time from the shop they do not sell in small packs

When I first started keeping crickets I had a terrible time with them dying. One theory I heard was that if they don't get enough protein they'll cannibalize. I started giving them fish flake, along with what ever veggies I toss in, and the death rate drastically decreased almost immediately. You may want to try that.

Also keep in mind that adult crickets are near the end of their life cycle and even kept in perfect conditions they'll start dying in a week or two anyways.

I never have a cricket problem. My crickets can last 5 months. I put them in a small tank with moss and a place to hide. I use the cricket jelly stuff for their water and I feed mine plain popcorn and they are all set to go. I leave them next to y Frog's tank and they do just fine. Mine will not eat carrots. Just popcorn. They love it. You should give it a try.

Don't keep them in the container that the pet shop gives you. Get a small aquarium and transport them into it. I know you said you only had 15 adult crickets, but the box you are keeping them in may still be too small or it may not have enough air. It is hard to say for sure without seeing a photo of it. But I would still definitely recommend moving your crickets into a different container with plenty of ventilation and space.
