Give a little time. How is his weight?
Like I said it may take time for them to get settled in. My FBTs know when it's feeding time so all I have to do is drop them in the tank. You can always try some worms in the tank as well while they get settled in.
Well keep of up to date and will tell you when to panic.
I want to try this with my FBTs, as I'm not convinced they are all getting their fair share of hoppers etc.
Is it ok to catch them with hands, & if so do you wear latex gloves or just live dangerously & make sure you wash hands after??
Also do you put anything else in the 'feed box' ie hides, or water??
You can free handle them, no problem. Just make sure there are no soap or other residues on your hands when you do. There is no need for hide boxes when you are feeding.
OK thanks Kurt - I'll give it a try tomorrow.
You're welcome.
