Maybe someone else could chime in on this idea, but do you think pedialyte soaks may help?

Thank you everyone for your words of encouragement. Norm is definitely dead. He is very stiff and his eyes are flattish with no life in them. I had left him in shallow water propped up on some wisteria when I went to work and was not hopeful. He was alive when I found him but when I was attempting to rehydrate he sort of gaped a bit and was moving his legs but then he stiffened up for a second and his legs straightened out then I never saw him move again. I think he died in my hand. I feel so terrible. I never would have thought I could become attached to a frog. I do think the pedialyte soak is a good idea based on what I know about reptiles (not amphibs) but I think it was too late. If I had only looked for him last night he would probably be ok.
Thank you again,
Carole
Sorry for Norm's death Carole!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
