great, knowing what my frog is i can finally relax lol, and yea my frog makes this noise alot so hopefully its a happy sound. glad i could get something new on audio recording. now to rename my frog haha. was hoping Grif would chime in, but oh well.

Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
Everyone that responded keeps pyxies. Grif(s) are the pacman guru, not saying they don't know their stuff, but it's hard hearing a female pyxie vocalize when you don't keep them. No offense or anything intended grifs.
Edit: I was confused as well in the beginning of this thread. I did however on your other thread, think it was a female being vocal.
No offense taken, but after hearing the sound clip I would say female too. Its a call, but not anything like the male mating call. I've mentioned before that they most likely have their own response call much like American Bullfrog females do which is like a loud grunt.
It's just a vocal female. Actually a very nice addition to have.
