Lija your advise is always spot on. This subject though, I have to disagree. There's no fun in it if everyone always agrees right?

you are absolutely right! no fun at all
on a subject though, impaction can cause almost everything, except probably earthworms/nightcrawlers, we are operating on probability of risks involvedmore paranoid people ( like me lol) would rather exclude as many risks that they possibly can. others might house their frogs on a gravel and say they are perfectly fine. If some people didn't see something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist, I prefer scientific reasoning, hence if a frog ( or anyone really) eats something he can't digest and if that something is big enough to get stuck in digestive tract you have an impaction.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
(even though it's not fun) I completely agree with you. Always use caution, and with juvi frogs, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Edit - Plus rep Lija
i would not be mixing European night crawlers with red wigglers, would European night crawlers be fine by them selfs???
oh sorry used wrong wordi meant that he probably confused nightcrawlers with red wigglers and that is why he is saying they are no-no.
any nightcrawlers are good for them.
