Taking an animal of any kind into your possession means you are responsible for it even if it turns out to be "defective." They all deserve the best chance to live long, healthy lives. I take that very seriously. Certainly there are situations when an animal's health is too far gone and a tough decision has to be made. But in cases like this the frog is as likely to have a long life as any other. The scholiosis is slight enough that it does not inhibit her movement or seem to cause her any pain. She splashes funny when she's in her bath, but that's about it. She did have some trouble with her bowel movements for a couple weeks, but I think it was due to a sudden growth spurt. Anyway, I didn't see how I could look at that cute little face and not want to take care of her!

I also posted this so that people can see an example of what a mild case of scholiosis and MBD looks like.

I will keep everyone updated on her progress.
