So some of you may remember the awful, awful experience I had with White's I purchased at a breeder's expo in September. All ended up passing away from the same illness, bloated, constricted pupils, lack of appetite, limpness... they'd get sick and two days later they were gone
Three other people (not including myself) have had the same problem with their frogs that they purchased from the same breeder at the same show, I was concerned at first it was something I did, but the chances of that happening are very slim. However, Voldemort offered me a refund or replacement at the last show (last Sunday the 18th), and I chose the refund. I was very well behaved and didn't punch him in the face. I just remembered the words of my husband "no, not the face Colleen, don't leave marks... punch him in the spleen instead!"
Anyway, reserved a pair from a completely different breeder and picked them up on Sunday, they're bigger about 4cm (or about 1.5") fat little lumps! They haven't eaten yet, but it's still early day as far as them being in their new home so not really worried, as they're moving around at night and have both picked out favorite sleep spots. Haven't thought of any good names yet either so at the moment I'm just referring to them as Frog #1 and Frog #2 or Lumpy and Dumpy
Only got a few quick pictures as they're still acclimating:
Frog #1
Frog #2
The gruesome twosome!
So nice to have tree frogs in the house again![]()
what a pair of cuties!! congrats! hope you have better luck with these guysand for the record, a really nice, sneaky kidney punch makes a dramatic statement, not that i condone violence in any way, shape or form

Looking great! and a spleen punch always gets the job done haha
~ Australian frogs Gotta love them
Thanks guysSo happy to have them, can't wait until they're thudding around and croaking loudly hahah
That other breeder really does to deserve to be punched in the spleen, kidney, gall bladder and any other organ in that area. Aside from the fact that he sold me (and at least 3 other people) ill frogs, after doing research and speaking to a specialist after the last one died, I called him to relay the information I was given to help HIM out. So he could get the rest of his frogs tested. And he got short with me on the phone.
When I went up to get my refund he seemed surprised that I didn't want to purchase from him again, and the program I was holding for the show got twisted into a diamond by the time I left his table, haha
Awww!!! your frogs are SO cute![]()
Guess who's frog made it into Practical Reptile Keeping Magazine's Doncaster video. MY FROG.
