Grif - clove oil/water soak and to reverse they're using warm water soaks, but in Zuma's case even the smallest dosage was too much, he was breathing for 2 hours after and seemed like he's waking up, but then he stopped breathing.
Actually same oil is used for euthanasia but bigger dosage, they just quietly go to sleep.

thank you guys for support, that was the end of long time battle and prognosis wasn't very good, but still...
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

Sadly it doesnt take much of the clove oil to euthanize the frog. Perhaps it is for the best. You went beyond what most people would to save such an animal and i fully understand your emotions as I have cried over a loss of one of mine. They are not empty shells that live without purpose and when we bring them into our lives to give them a home we find them giving us great joy and even making us laugh. Though they do not show affection like a cat or dog they do get inside our hearts and they can become accustomed to us over time. Even climbing into your hand when they want to go back into their tank after a soak. Many may not experience this, but i have and do on a weekly basis. They know who cares for them regardless of what anyone says. Personal experience is what i speak from.

I am deeply sorry for your loss.
