Indeed quite strange that the little one doesn´t get eaten by the big ones. He is an albino and not a reticulated as far as I can see.

I thought that too. I would be sweating bullets every day! That little albino is completely in the danger zone of being eaten by the larger females.
It's cool that they don't eat him, just very surprising. Hopefully he will grow before those larger ACF change their minds!!

Definitely reticulated. =]
As far as him being eaten I too am surprised he has made it and is quite bold and disregarded as food by the big frogs. That being said I was no longer willing to maintain a seperate set up for just him. At the point when He and the little albino female were added to "general pop" my feelings were eat or be eaten. If I loose him, it is what it is.

How old is Carl? I have a frog that doesn't seem to be growing much either and it's frustrating.

Makes me wonder if he's not an X. Laevis, but he sure looks like one though. Perhaps he is OK because the frogs grew up together? I've raised my ACF with glass shrimp since they were small froglets and surprisingly I've had few casualties and they make great little tank left over food cleaners.
I have a small light tan pigmented ACF who doesn't want to grow either! He's very shy but seems to be getting a little bolder. I wish he'd catch up to the others!
I am sure my guy is X. laevis. You have to remember that humans are the reason a frog like this can be encountered/survive. If he were wild born he would likely be dead by now. I have heard of these guys occasionally staying small or never growing. I believe Jenna has one and I know other people have mentioned it on here.
I don't buy into the frogs growing up together thing. My big frogs will even try to eat my hand whenever I mess around in the tank. I have also tried to keep large goldfish with them in the past and the frogs were relentless even though the fish were impossible to eat. Perhaps Carl is on borrowed time.
