I want to apologize if my post sounded ignorant or something. I didn't mean to "not search" and just jump right into it. You have to understand, I was extremely concerned about my frog and I've found that, despite searching, each and every "froggy emergency" seems to be slightly unique in itself, which is why I wanted to post my specific situation. I thank you for your advise. I have removed and thrown out all of the frog moss from my cages and I've ordered the pedialyte.
Alright. What do I do about him not eating? As I stated, its been 3 weeks. Do I leave him alone and try to feed him once or twice a week? Like I said, he's looking kind of pale and his eyes are only half open all the time, however, his skin has not hardened and he's not dropping any significant amount of weight.
If you have to force-feed, try nightcrawlers. They digest better than crickets and are easier on the frog after an impaction. The kind you can find in your wal-mart bait section are fine to use, jut check and make sure you don't grab a box full of dead ones! Plus, once it gets the end of the worm in its mouth, it'll usually keep eating so it's less stressful than force-feeding multiple insects.
