Dumpy tree frog skin problem

Looks like basic bumps and bruises that they obtain over time from jusping around the tank and missing the desired landing points.

You can contact Dr Frye and ask. He is not in on Wednesday and if you write him include pics and he will reply.

If that's the case I'm very relieved. The odd thing is that most appeared at the same time and haven't gone away since then. Some are also at places that are irrelevant for being brushes from jumping, and also I've never seen them before on my frogs. It all just seems a bit fishy and if something actually is wrong I want to caught it as soon as possible.

keep us posted leachie. Like don said they could just be from jumping and bumping against thing. The only one that concerns me is the one on the nose. It looks like a scratch and you should contact Dr Frye.

I got this reply from Dr Frye:
"That appears to be a mild or early case of bacterial or fungal dermatitis. I would recommend treating the frog with Baytril drops and SIlversulfadiazene."

It feels good to at least know what it is! I will do as he recommended and hope that my frog gets well.
Do any of you know if this can go away by itself? I wouldn't take the risk but it would be good to know anyway.

As for can it go away? Well, you can take your chances but i wouldn't recommend it. I frog is a living thing just like you and me.
Like he said, its the early stages and it wouldn't require much treatment and therefore not much money needed to be spend.

As said I wouldn't take the risk because he is very precious to me. The thing is that my parents will be very unwilling to pay this, and the reasons you just gave me I can use against them
