Mine does not shed this frequently... Have you been washing your hands with soap prior to handling, or like Sticky mentioned ^ are you dechlorinating the water in the frogs bowl ? Do you have a lamp on your WTF if so for how long? Are your frogs cohabitating? Have you changed the substrate you typically use, or anything like this?

No, I just mist them with the distilled water and I use a Exo terra canopy with a Repti glow 5.0 UVB. I only have one frog the other one was sick when I got him and he passed away, for substrate I use repti carpet because I used to use eco earth but then I got a waterfall and it got all muddy.

Do not use distilled water ON the frogs or in their dish for soaking. Distilled water lacks the essential minerals they need to stay healthy and distilled water leaches the salt from their body which also is unhealthy for the frogs.

Treated tap water or bottled spring water are good choices instead.

It the water treatment product you have is for removing chlorine then just use the recommended amount stated on the bottle. These products work almost instantly.

As for distilled water, it is used only for misting to raise humidity levels and not leave spotting on the glass. I should not be sprayed (on purpose) on the frog nor used in a water dish.

Ok thanks I just cleaned her dish and used tap water and the dechlorinater, but my dad says that we use spring water so it should be ok.
