Michael Novy had moreletii ( s) earlier this year.
It was too cold to ship and I wasn't ready at the time.
As mentioned, he is working his magic ! I'll just have to wait.
I bug him as much as possible !!!!!!

Big difference in the call sounds when comparing the A. moreletii to the A. callidryas.
I have never heard 'her' call !

I was able to snap all 4 froglets at once this AM.

'Boggie' and a froglet



It will be at least another month ? before the froglets can join the 'Boogster'

Soooooooooooooooo Mabye it has been more than a month !
It has been 4 months!

The froglet A.moreletii I purchased from Michael Novy ( received on May 23 , 2012 ) joined my adult "Boggie" last night. FINALLY !
Impossible to tell, but it looks like they had a great 1st night.

I left 3 cricket bowls. ( they have eaten from a bowl since I got them). Two small bowls w/ their crickets and Boggie's usual dinner.
I went down 3 time during the night and witnessed all of them in and on the edges of their very small cricket bowls.
Lots of crickets missing. I will need to keep an eye on things to be certain they continue to grow nicely.

There should be little adjustment needed regarding the enclosure as it was kept w/ identical settings except for its size.
They do , however ,have to adjust to the "Boggster" who is large in comparison.
I use a mist king......so each morning I have to check to make sure they have not chosen a spot- to sleep- where they will be sprayed during the day with distilled water.

They are 1- 1/4 to 1 - 1/2 inches in length.

Amazing! Gorgeous frogs, gorgeous species....The genus Agalychnis is just beautiful, fragile and beautiful yet strong in adaptive skills and smarts to take their place in the rainforest canopy. You have very lucky creatures, I love your setup, it screams of their perfect natural habitat, and they look so healthy and happy and content....great pics (went back over thread) to wake up to. Thankyou
