    Consider it confirmation from the guy who studies them:

    You have yourself northern cricket frogs. Acris crepitans. Probably the most awesome little hylids ever, even if they are short lived (average lifespan is 13 months, they dont live long)

    Wow, I knew they had a short life, but 13 months...That is amazing!

    There life span is much longer in captivity.
    I have had one live 3 years.
