What are the major difference between the two? What type of substrate works best for Whites Tree Frogs and Green Tree Frogs? Do either need a heat source? From my understanding Whites are calm, and Greens are "jumpy"?
Also, can you use regular fresh water aquarium fish water de-chlorineator?
Thanks so much.![]()
I am no expert but i hope this helps you out some
1. The main difference is whites are larger than green tree frogs
2. Whites are one of the few tree frogs that are normally ok with handlig as long as its not to much
3. I would think that eco earth or any type of substrate brick would work well with a layer of moss on top
4. Im not sure about heat but im sure you could find the requirements in a few online care sheets
5. I use regular aquarium dechlorinator and it has not have any negative effects on my frogs
Hope this helps![]()
Whites care sheet: http://www.frogforum.net/tree-frog-c...-caerulea.html
Grey care sheet (I was told Greens are "similar" to greys in care and temp and feeding I dont believe they have a post yet for greens)http://www.frogforum.net/tree-frog-c...ysoscelis.html
This is assuming the Green you are refering to are American Green tree frog ... and not Australian Greens which are the exact same as Whites lol
