The joy of this hobby is easily spread from one person to another !
Like many hobbies, it's a labor of love.
Heatheranne, Bruce, and I had an enjoyable day, last Oct 12', meeting John Clare (View Profile: John - Frog Forum ) and Michael Novy (http://www.frogforum.net/sale-trade/...ct-19th.htmlat ) a Hambuerg PA show.
It was a pleasure to meet them. I enjoyed soaking up as many 'pearls of wisdom' as possible.
I came home with my 1st pair of R imitators 'Varadero" (a generous gift) that were bred by John. Since , they have grown and are producing offspring of their own, without any real effort on my part.
good DNA!
This first little tootsie has been past along to Heatheranne.

They are quite proficient, fertile and really great little parents.
There are three more little tads here and others in their enclosure (w/ 2 breeding pair )
Their enclosure is quite large. I have been lucky. They have done very well together, despite what we read regarding keeping them in 'pairs only' . In fact, I have witnessed some interesting, non-aggressive, parental interaction !
I have left some tads in their enclosure for them to raise ( as per my expert advise)
This little trio ( likely others) will need a home in the spring.
Since there are 2 pair breeding, mixing offspring is easily done so siblings are not together.
Best , Lynn![]()

Lynn, they must be quite happy. Great job!
I can say that their daughter "Imi-Bee" is healthy, energetic and was my first frog gift. We love her!
You're right, it is certainly a contagious hobby...not only frogs, but building their enclosures, and meeting friends and fellow hobbyists.
So, are you looking for homes for the new babies?
