Got some new plants so I decided to post an update. Removed the vines too so there is more room for flora.

    Digg,
    (sorry I don't know you name . ) I have a name thing
    Your build is awesome !
Imitators are beautiful-for sure . I love mine.
It is very difficult to keep tack of where they are though.
Opening and closing the doors needs constant surveillance ! They are little escape artists.
Plus they hangout on the doors- mine do anyway.
I had to cover the tiny openings in my exo terra enclosure/ lid that are meant for the cords to pass through !

They are bold and busy ! I look for them before I open the door and after I close it. Otherwise ,I'd have nightmares !

Ill definitely keep that in mind and thanks forbthe complement as this is my first build for darts. I'm already brainstorming on the next build.

I'm glad that Varederos are bold for every one who has them for the most part so my kids and will enjoy them.

Glad you asked lol. I'm thinking of doing another 40 vert with a drip rockwall background with moss, java ferns and anubias. Don't tell anyone though lol

    Have you considered D Leucomelas.
They are bright and beautiful, easy to care for and quite entertaining.
I purchased mine in May. They are a little over an inch!
Their bumble bee 'uniforms' are a pretty contrast against all your hard work.
Mine actually come toward the door when I open it. Smart little busy 'bees'

Yes I Luecs and I would definitely consider getting some my only concerns is that this build may be a little too vertical for them. I might actually go with them because they are super bold, and I love the colors and are a good beginner frog. I have a buddy that actually has some banded Luecs that he says has no spots and thick black bands.

That sounds cool! Let me know if you need any anubias when you are ready. I always have a couple species growing.

I kept 6 leucs in a 60 hex about 12 years ago . The tank was tall and the leucs used the whole thing. I had ledges and hides all over. They did great, no aggression and they laid eggs all the time. My favorite darts I've owned.

I'll definitely consider them even more now. I love thumbnails but second guessing now because of their tiny size. What did your luecs usually lay in and did you care for the tads?

They always laid on my bromeliads. I didn't raise the eggs. At the time I had a rack full of frogs, a reef tank, and no more room.

Even better, because I dont really want to raise tads right now. I think luecs would be a good fit. sice they can tolerate drops in humidity (my conversion dries out quick).

Yeah they should work out fine for you. Where are you losing your humidity? The doors?
